WHAT TO EXPECT...
A slow-paced, circular walk, of 1 to 2km. We move slowly, to help calm our minds and enjoy our surroundings.
Located in natural landscapes, ideally woodland, to benefit from the therapeutic effects of spending time in nature.
Activities to engage the senses. Informed by scientific research, these enable us to become absorbed in the environment.
I thoroughly enjoyed Forest Bathing+ led by Kirsty. Although I always enjoy being in nature, there is such a difference to being immersed in these gentle sensory activities. Kirsty is warm, welcoming and inclusive. She has a very special style, seamlessly able to hold the space for us to explore the forest mindfully using our senses, and also informing us of the health benefits of Forest Bathing+. I was particularly interested in the immune boosting benefits these sessions have. A guided relaxation session at the end was a wonderful way to finish the session. I came away feeling calm and relaxed, yet inspired and motivated. It was wonderful to feel so connected and grounded. Thank you, Kirsty.
